IELTS Writing is one of the essential modules of IELTS. Writing and Speaking are the only modules where students struggle a lot. These two modules depend on the judgment of the examiner. In other words, we can say that these models are not entirely in our hands, like Listening and Reading, where if your answer is correct, then you got the point. However, it does not happen in the writing and speaking module. Many a time, students revaluate their writing and Speaking. We also see many students get a better results after revaluating. Hence, dear students should pay more attention to writing and speaking to get higher band scores like in Reading and Listening.
Academic Writing:
The writing portion of the exam takes 60 minutes. There are two tasks that need to be completed.
Task 1: It is recommended that applicants spend about 20 minutes on Task 1, which requires them to write at least 150 words.
Task 2: This task will take about 40 minutes and require at least 250 words. Task 2 makes twice as much of an impact on the Writing score as Task 1.
General Writing:
Task 2 is identical to academic task 2. The only difference between Task 1. In general task 1, you have to write letters whereas in academic you have to write a report.
